AD—WO è uno studio di architettura situato a New York e, per estensione, tra Melbourne e Addis Abeba, che esamina come lo spazio venga raffigurato e valorizzato tramite l’arte, il design e gli interventi curatoriali. Fondato nel 2015 da Jen Wood ed Emanuel Admassu, AD—WO ha preso parte a progetti in Etiopia, Tanzania, Germania, Italia e negli Stati Uniti. Le sue opere sono state esposte al Museum of Modern Art di New York (2021), all’Architekturmuseum der TU München (2018) e allo Studio Museum di Harlem (2017).
