Mixtapes aren’t just about business. They’re an integral part of hip-hop culture – the only part of hip-hop still true to the street rebel vibe that birthed the movement in the first place. But Mixtapes are illegal. This film illustrates the battles and hustles on both sides of this volcanic industry through interviews with virtually every notable DJ involved in the game. Featuring: Kanye West, Lil ‘ Jon, 50 Cent & G-Unit, Chuck D and many others.
