WIRED‘s vision of a new world’s fair, WIRED NextFest is a four-day festival of innovative products and technologies that are transforming our world.
Patterned on the great World’s Fairs of the past, this year’s NextFest in New York features more than 130 interactive exhibits from leading scientists and researchers around the world. Experience the future of exploration, entertainment, transportation, health, communication, design, security, and green living. Visitors of all ages are welcome.
WIRED NextFest presents a series of provocative and inspiring panel discussions and demonstrations moderated by WIRED editors.
Limiteazero, one of the most international well known Italian group of new media designer/artists, have been invited, as a good example of “future of entertainment”, with their beautiful interactive installation Laptop Orchestra (http://www.limiteazero.com/l_o/index.html)

Reentry: New York City – Bill Dolson
Synthetic meteor showers fill the Manhattan skyline in these HD computer simulations, envisioning a daring public art project.
Reentry was created during Dolson’s residency at Eyebeam, an art and technology center that provides a fertile context and state-of-the-art tools for digital experimentation.
