The Premio Termoli, established in 1955, is one of the longest-running artistic events in Italy and one that gave birth to the collection of artworks presently entrusted to the Fondazione MACTE.

In 2020, the history renews itself with the creation of a new branch of the Premio Termoli, the Architecture and Design Section, which introduces an open call for projects by commission, fostering the tradition of Italy as a place for ingenuity in welcoming new architectural and artistic approaches.

The 62nd edition of the Premio Termoli is curated by Laura Cherubini and will award two cash prizes, one for the winner of the Visual Arts Section and one for the Architecture and Design Section. The selection process will consist of a curatorial committee responsible for the direct invitation of artists for the Visual Arts Section, whereas for the Architecture and Design Section we are seeking online submissions from international architects, designers and artists between October 9 and November 26 2020.
