Graduated from Interface Culture in Linz, guest at IAMAS in Ogaki, former PhD student at Kyoto Institute of Technology (Japan), Mauro Arrighi has been lecturer of Digital Art and Electronic Art at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice. He has been featured in many international festival and media centers. Since 2010 Arrighi is living in Japan where he is pursuing his academic and artistic career as new-media artist, lecturer and independent-curator. In 2011 published “Japanese Spell in Electronic Art.

She's also a professional in the ICT field, currently working in the cybersecurity sector. Areas of special interest to Silvia are beside electronic literature and writing, web culture and digital arts, computer mediated communications, new media studies and cybersecurity.

He focused his research on aesthetic and perceptual issues arising from the use of technology in music. Member of the foundation Musica Musicisti e Tecnologie which organizes the festival Elektronica, he is founder of association zer0zer0 to support production and discussion about experimental music.

Claire Burke is a Dublin based artist and member of A4 Sounds studios. Her practice explores the interdisciplinary area of art and technology. Her research explores computational creativity and new aesthetics within contemporary art. A graduate of Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Claire holds a Higher Certificate in Audio Visual Media Technology, a Bachelor of Engineering in Digital Media Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art Practice. Claire holds a Master of Art in Art in the Contemporary world from the National College of Art and Design. Her work predominantly involves the use of technology, engaging with video, electronics, coding, photography and screen print.

Ana Carvalho is doctor in Communication and Digital Platforms. Subjects of her interest are identity (collective and individual), documentation, narrative and memory within live audiovisual performance practices. Ana Carvalho is also a lecturer at ISMAI (Instituto Universitário da Maia), Portugal. As visual artist and performer her work evidences process as art and reflects on fictional biography, social utopias, ways of knowing and women’s achievements. She is responsible for the research project Ephemeral Expanded. Previous projects: co-editor of the VJ Theory project (archive) and co-organized the series of events abertura, in Lisbon.

Pierre Chaumont was born in 1987 in France and presently live and works in Montreal, Canada. His artworks were shown in United States, China, Japan, Korea, Greece, Slovenia and Canada. More specifically, he recently finished a residency at the MASS MoCA and had a solo show at the CICA Museum in South Korea, along presenting his works in several biennials around the world. He is part of the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Laurentians, The Museum of Art in Lendava, Slovenia, the Loto-Quebec Collection, the New Ark Library collection and in many private collections.

Alessio Chierico is an artist and researcher with theoretical background in contemporary art, design theory and media studies. He is currently PhD candidate at Interface Culture department of Kunstuniversität Linz (AT), and graduated in the same university. Chierico has been visiting student at IAMAS Institute of Advanced Media Art and Sciences in Ogaki (JP), and former student at NABA in Milan (IT), and in the art academies of Carrara and Urbino (IT). Chierico regularly contributes with conferences talks and academic publications. In 2014 Chierico won the Lab Award (Augsburg, GER) and in 2008 Milano in Digitale (Milan, IT).

Mario Ciaramitaro lives in Venice, where he has been collaborating in Iuav University visual arts and design courses since 2009. In 2007 he co-founded the collective Blauer Hase and he's curating Helicotrema, Recorded Audio Festival and Paesaggio magazine. His training often leads him to collaborate with artists, architects and designers in projects combining image editing, sensitivity for the creation of a space, and attention to signs and words. His doctoral research is questioning the nature and future of digital interfaces, looking for different ways to understand and undermine it. Since 2015, he has been part of THE KIXS vj duo.

Alfredo Cramerotti is author and curator of contemporary art, film & video, mass media, performance, photography, conferences and online formats. He is Director of MOSTYN, the leading visual arts centre in Wales, and Head Curator of APT – Artist Pension Trust. In recent years his work has included curating the Leviathan Cycle and three national pavilions at the Venice Biennale (2017, 2015 and 2013), EXPO VIDEO in Chicago (2015), and biennials such as Sequences VII in Iceland (2015) and Manifesta 8 in Spain (2010). Cramerotti is Research Scholar at eCPR – European Centre for Photography Research, University of South Wales, Visiting Lecturer at universities and art colleges throughout Europe and the Americas as well as Editor of the Critical Photography book series by Intellect.

Mark Hancock is a writer, digital producer and videographer working across the corporate and arts sectors. Mark is interested in the future of digital publishing and how different media can work together to tell stories about our contemporary arts world. He is currently producing a series of short documentaries, building on his scratch-video experiments interviewing artists at festivals.

Kirsten Hawkins is first and foremost a linguist hailing from Liverpool in the United Kingdom. Her love of languages led her to specialise in Modern Languages at Newcastle University where she obtained her BA. She is now immersing herself in the study of all things digital, including a whole variety of new languages (HTML, CSS and JavaScript), web design and marketing. She is a blogger who loves to write about the creative scene in her home city of Liverpool.

Filippo Lorenzin is a London-based independent curator and critical theorist. His research is focused on the study of the effects of the introduction of new technologies into artistic practices. Digicult collaborator since 2011, he writes about the relationship between artists and the public through the mediating role of the artistic technique throughout history. He takes part in talks and lectures, actively dialoguing with interesting figures at the borderline between art and scientific research.

Paolo Magaudda is Research Fellow in Sociology at the University of Padova and lecturer at the Iusve University and at the IED. His research activities focus on the interconnections between technologies, culture and society, a topic on which he has carried out several researches and has published many scientific texts. In 2010 he has co-founded the online open-access academic journal Tecnoscienza: Italian Journal of Science & Technology Studies and recently he has been elected secretary of STS Italia, the Italian society for the social studying of science & technology.

Graduated in Cultural Mediation, she deepens the geographical and linguistic realities united by the journey and the conquest, and then devotes herself to the trait d 'union of contemporary art, the leitmotif of the whole history of man. Marco Mancuso is an indipendent art critic, curator, lecturer and publisher. He focuses his research on the impact of technologies and science on art, design and contemporary culture. Founder and director from 2005 at Digicult he teaches at NABA and IED in Milano, Accademia di Belle Arti Carrara in Bergamo and is visiting lecturer at RUFA in Rome. He researches and curates exhibitions and projects on art-technology and partnered with many of the most important institutions in the field. He lectures and takes part in round tables and meetings. He collaborates with the art space Adiacenze in Bologna.

For many years Andrea Mi has been cultivating interests in the fields of architecture, design, communications and digital media (having taught courses at I.E.D. and L.A.B.A. and curated several festivals and live events), purely to mitigate his crazy passion for music. He writes for numerous dedicated magazines (Soundwall, Sentireascoltare, DLSO, Artwort) as well as for Digicult, and curates several radio shows on Controradio/Popolare Network. His main endeavour (after his son, Milo Mi) is the radio weekly Mixology, which also features a podcast and a showcase that has appeared at several festivals. A couple of times a week he remembers he is also a dj.

Maddalena Mometti is a freelance product and fashion designer, expert in Chic Things, Smart Things and Internet of Things. She graduated in Industrial Design at the Iuav University of Venice, when she started her collaboration with Iuav, Faculty of Design and Arts, as assistant professor and design researcher. She holds a PhD in Design Sciences at Iuav, with a research entitled Smart Things for Smart Grids. Now her work is focusing on high tech fashion and sport design. Since 2016 she also works at Ca 'Foscari University of Venice in order to explore the relationships between innovation in design and the application of new business models.

Claudio Musso is an art critic and curator. His curatorial practice and his research is focus on urban art and the new technologies in the intermedia experimental art scene. He is tutor for the course of Tecniche dell’Arte Contemporanea at the Department of Visual Arts, Bologna University. Graduate at master’s degree corse in Storia dell’Arte in Bologna, where he’s just obtaine a first degree in Discipline e tecnologie dell’Arte, della Musica e dello Spettacolo (DAMS). Pasquale Napolitano is an expert in design and visual communication. His PhD research in Visual Communication at the University of Salerno, is focused on the design possibilities of video as a form of expression and the relationship between these and the drift of contemporary visuality He is Professor of Digital Video at the Institute of Design in Naples for the Multimedia Graphics course. Pasquale is also a professor of Corporate Identity at the same institute. Since November 2011, it's Professor of Digital Video at course of New Technologies of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples.

Federica Patti is an independent curator who lives and works in Bologna. Her research focuses on contemporary experimental art movements, with particular interest in multimedia, emerging artists and interactive and participatory projects. She co-founded roBOt, an international festival dedicated to digital arts and electronic music. In 2010 she co-founded SPAZIOBARNUM, a non-profit space in Bologna focused on the presentation and development of her research topics. In 2012 she joined LaRete Art Projects. Since 2013 she is frequent contributor for Artribune magazine and Digicult.

Lorenza Pignatti is curator and essayist, professor at the New Academy of Fine Arts (NABA) in Milan who has taught at the University of Urbino and Bologna, the Academy of Applied Sciences and Arts at SUPSI in Lugano. She is a freelance journalist for the newspapers “La Repubblica”, “Il Manifesto”, and for several magazines such as “Art Review”, “Art Press”, “No Order. Art in a Post-fordist Society.

Zoe Romano is a craftivist, digital strategist e lecturer focused on social impact, women in tech, digital fabrication, open design. She graduated in Philosophy, worked for several years in digital communication agencies and, at the same time, developed her social skills as media hacktivist on precarity, material and immaterial labor in the creative industries.  She worked for Arduino as digital strategist from 2013 to 2017 and then co-founded WeMake Makerspace in 2014 where she now works full-time.

She holds a joint PhD by EPFL in Lausanne and IST in Lisbon, with a background in architecture (Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade) and media design (Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam). She is currently a postdoc fellow at the department of Architecture Theory and Philosophy of Technics, TU Vienna, Austria. Her hybrid design practice forms productive connections between the world of tangible experiences and seamless technologies and infrastructures.

She works in the field of contemporary art with special interest in interdisciplinary and research in the field of Sound Art and Media Art. She teaches at RUFA - Rome University of Fine Arts. She is a professor in the Master in Economics and Art Management and Cultural Heritage of the Business School "Il Sole 24 Ore". She is Co-director of SPRING ATTITUDE FESTIVAL in Rome. Her book, Sound art. Ascoltare è come vedere, was published by Castelvecchi in february 2017
